Botox, Xeomin, Daxxify, and other neuromodulators relax specific facial muscles, thereby softening 'dynamic wrinkles' while still allowing for facial expressions. Forehead lines occur when eyebrows are raised and are usually treated along with the frown area, known as the glabellar complex, to minimize forehead lines and frown lines, '11s'. We typically microdose 12-20 units across the forehead for better effectiveness with less eyelid or eyebrow drooping. The Crow's Feet show up when we make big smiles and squint. They can be treated with Xeomin and will not affect your vision or smile. Typically, we use about 4-12 units on each side. Frown lines show when we furrow our brows, such as when we worry, squint, or focus intensely. They can be lessened with injections in those specific muscles and the usual dose is 12-20 units. These common areas of treatment are charged per unit. There is no minimum amount, so if you want just one area treated, we can do that.
